Marc Hirsch

Marc Hirsch (Mr. Marc) is a first-year teacher. He has had a passion for teaching for many years and found an opportunity with Alturas International Academy to put his experience and skills to good use. Mr. Marc grew up in Southern California but has been living in Idaho Falls for the past 10 years. After moving to Idaho Falls, Mr. Marc attended Idaho State University where he earned his bachelor’s in philosophy. Mr. Marc has a passion for learning deep meaningful concepts that contribute to high level learning, critical thinking, and conveying those topics to help people elevate themselves so they can live more meaningful lives. Mr. Marc also has a passion for physical fitness. He has been training CrossFit here in Idaho Falls for 10 years and continues to do so. He believes that there are valuable lessons to be learned not only from education, but from challenging yourself physically. Mr. Marc’s class philosophy for the 2024-2025 school year is that we can learn to solve any problem, no matter how daunting, one step at a time.
